System Changes
  • Fixed an issue where changes to Volume and Screen Mode settings did not take immediate effect when set back to their default values.
  • Reduced internal BGM volume, improving audio balance with sound effects when set to the same value in Audio Settings.

Global Changes
  • Fixed an issue where certain attacks in a blockstring would become unblockable.
  • Fixed an issue where certain hitboxes were smaller than intended.
  • Tech Recovery behaviour has been modified so that the character either recovers in place if no horizontal input is held, or a fixed distance left or right depending on the held direction.
  • Guard Cancels have received the following changes:
    • Frame data, damage, and knockback is now consistent across all Guard Cancels; most characters now use a different animation as a result.
    • They can no longer K.O. the opponent.
    • They can no longer be used to start combos.
    • Coinciding with the Tech Recovery changes, it is not possible to Tech Recover forward after getting hit by a Guard Cancel.
  • Button buffer duration increased (2f ➔ 4f).
  • Command Moves are now buffered, as opposed to requiring the direction to be held up until activation.
  • All combos now apply a one-time 75% prorate for the second attack onward, unless they were initiated with a Throw.
  • Throws now apply 50% proration.
  • Spell Cards no longer ignore the proration set by a Throw.
  • Fixed an issue where a character's projectiles that hit while the character was performing a Last Word would do unscaled damage.
  • Fixed an issue where a character's projectiles would ignore certain flag resets when hitting the opponent on the same frame they exit hitstun.
  • Fixed an issue where beams would not destroy projectiles if they made contact with the opponent.
  • Fixed an issue where certain hit behaviour (juggle flags, proration, etc.) would not occur on trade.
