System Changes
  • Game files have been further optimised to reduce the game's overall file size.
  • Corrected various errors in the Movelists menu.
  • Inputs have been reorganised to better match the game; the main attack buttons are now referred to as A, B, and C, dash shortcut is now D, and the two macro buttons are now labelled as such.
  • Added configurable Start button.
  • Keyboard and gamepad controls can now be configured natively using the respective input device, as opposed to typing the respective key or ID into an input window.

Global Changes
  • Last Word selector no longer randomises the initial selection unless it's the A.I., now always starting on the first Last Word.
  • Tech recovery command changed to holding A, B, or C before hitting ground.
  • Connecting with an attack on the exact frame the opponent recovers from hitstun is no longer considered a combo hit by the proration multiplier.
  • Fixed an issue where it was not possible to guard, walk, or jump immediately after returning to a neutral state.
  • Initial guard directional input now matches the command buffer; direction to hold while guarding is unchanged.
  • The buffer has been adjusted to improve reliability of simultaneous button presses and diagonal inputs.
